Atlanta, April 4, 2025: The Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple marked the 150th Foundation Day of Arya Samaj with a grand celebration filled with spiritual vibrance, inspiring speeches, and cultural brilliance. The beautifully adorned temple, complete with a thoughtfully curated Arya Samaj exhibition and elegantly decorated premises, created a perfect setting for the momentous occasion.
The event brought together scholars, community leaders, and devotees to honor the legacy of Arya Samaj and its ongoing relevance in today’s world. The program featured thought-provoking addresses, devotional music, cultural performances, and the inauguration of a Vaidik Prayer Book, symbolizing the timeless wisdom of the Vedas.
Among the distinguished guests was Shri Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan, Consul General of India in Atlanta, who emphasized Arya Samaj’s contributions to global harmony, education, and social upliftment. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Prashant Acharya, offering profound insights into the movement’s global impact. Shri Bhuvnesh Khosla, President of APSA, delivered an inspiring address titled “Arya Samaj @150: A Legacy Empowering Our Future.” The event also witnessed the gracious presence of Mrs. Tejal Shah, National President of VHP America, along with leaders from 30+ nonprofit organizations across Atlanta.
Visiting scholar Acharya Suyasha Arya reflected on the continued relevance of Arya Samaj and Vaidik values, while enlightening talks were also delivered by Dr. Deen Chandora (Founding Trustee), Acharya Amol Kumar Ji (Resident Priest), Acharya Vedshrami Ji, and Acharya Ananya Ji, further deepening the spiritual and philosophical tone of the event.
The program beautifully highlighted the Vaidik roots and learnings of the students from the Vedic Sanskriti School, run by the Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple, showcasing the impact of value-based education on young minds.

The atmosphere was enhanced by displays honoring Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati’s vision and Arya Samaj’s global contributions, inspiring all in attendance to renew their dedication to its core principles.
This milestone celebration was more than a commemoration—it was a powerful call to action, urging the next generation to carry forward Arya Samaj’s torch of truth, righteousness, and selfless service. The Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple once again reaffirmed its role as a beacon of Dharma, unity, and Vedic revival in North America.
