Netflix has announced that its upcoming reality-documentary series, Dining With The Kapoors, will premiere globally on November 21, 2025. The series will feature members of the Kapoor family — often referred to as Bollywood’s first film dynasty — in a format that blends food, conversation, and family history.
According to Netflix, the show offers “a healthy serving of love and laughter” as multiple generations of the Kapoor family gather around the dinner table to share personal stories and discuss their shared legacy in Indian cinema. The cast includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, among others.
The series is directed by Smriti Mundhra, known for Netflix’s Indian Matchmaking and The Romantics, and created by Armaan Jain, a member of the extended Kapoor family. Early descriptions suggest a mix of unscripted conversation, nostalgic reflection, and glimpses into the family’s long association with food and film.
While the format appears to emphasize warmth and familiarity, industry observers note that such celebrity-family shows tend to walk a fine line between authenticity and image management. Some social media discussions have expressed curiosity about how candid the interactions will be, given the Kapoor family’s prominence and public visibility.
Dining With The Kapoors continues Netflix India’s growing investment in personality-driven storytelling, following titles such as The Romantics, The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, and Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale — all of which invite viewers to see well-known public figures in more personal and unscripted settings.
