Actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy, on Thursday.
In a joint statement shared on social media, the couple said, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November 2025. — Katrina & Vicky.”
The couple, who married in December 2021 in a private ceremony in Rajasthan, had announced their pregnancy in September with a photo captioned, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
Several members of the film industry, including Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor, congratulated the couple on the birth of their child.
Kaif and Kaushal, known for keeping their personal lives private, have not released additional details about the birth, including the baby’s name or location.
Kaif is among Bollywood’s leading actresses, known for her work in films such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Tiger Zinda Hai. Kaushal, who received a National Film Award for Uri: The Surgical Strike, has also appeared in Sardar Udham and Sam Bahadur.
The couple’s announcement quickly became one of the most discussed topics on social media, with the hashtag #BabyKaushalKaif trending nationwide.
