This Is My Official Policy: JD Vance Tells Wife’s Attackers to ‘Eat S—’

NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

Washington, D.C., December 23, 2025: U.S. Vice President JD Vance has issued a forceful rebuke to individuals attacking his wife, Usha Vance, following a spate of racist and personal insults aimed at her online and in political commentary.

Speaking in an interview with UnHerd, Vance said he would not tolerate attacks on his wife from any quarter, naming both far-right provocateur Nick Fuentes and Democratic strategist Jen Psaki while responding to criticism and slurs directed at Usha Vance.

“Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat s—,” Vance said, describing the statement as his “official policy” as vice president.

The comments came amid backlash after Fuentes used racist language referencing Usha Vance’s Indian heritage and accused the vice president of being a “race traitor.” Vance sharply condemned such rhetoric, calling attacks based on race or ethnicity “disgusting” and saying they have no place in American public life.

Usha Vance, the daughter of Indian immigrants, is an accomplished attorney and former Supreme Court clerk. She has largely stayed out of partisan political debates, but has increasingly become the target of online abuse as her husband’s national profile has risen.

Vance said political disagreements should never cross into personal or racial attacks, stressing that the normalization of such language erodes basic standards of decency in civic discourse.

The episode underscores growing concerns about the tone of political debate in the United States, particularly as public figures and their families face heightened scrutiny and harassment online.
