NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT
Google has launched a new tool to help students prepare for college admission tests. The company now offers full-length SAT practice exams at no cost inside its Gemini artificial intelligence app, a major development in education technology.
The practice tests are designed to mirror the real SAT, giving students a chance to test their skills in reading, writing and mathematics under timed conditions. Users can begin a test simply by asking Gemini, “I want to take a practice SAT test.” After finishing, they receive instant feedback on their performance, including explanations of correct and incorrect answers.
To ensure the practice material is meaningful and close to the actual exam, Google partnered with The Princeton Review, a well-known test preparation provider. This collaboration means the questions are grounded in content that has been reviewed by education experts rather than being basic or generic.
In addition to performance feedback, the feature helps students identify areas where they need improvement and can build personalized study plans based on their results. This kind of tailored guidance aims to make studying more efficient and focused.
Google said the SAT is the first standardized test available with this feature, and it plans to add practice exams for other major tests in the future.
