Atlanta, GA, November 11, 2025: Republican activist C.B. Yadav has been listed among the individuals pardoned by President Donald Trump in a sweeping proclamation that extended clemency to allies involved in efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results. Yadav’s name appeared on a list shared publicly on X by Ed Martin, the Department of Justice’s point-man on pardons and a former attorney for Jan. 6 defendants.
Yadav, a Georgia businessman and former member of the Georgians First Commission, was included in the list identifying Republicans who served as alternate electors for Trump in 2020. Others known to Georgia residents, including State Sen. Shawn Still, also appeared on the list of pardons.
In the document, Trump described the prosecutions of his allies as “a grave national injustice perpetrated on the American people” and said the pardons were intended to support “the process of national reconciliation.”
AP noted, however, that the individuals pardoned were not prosecuted by the Biden administration. Their charges were brought by state prosecutors, who operate independently from the U.S. Department of Justice.
While pre-emptive federal pardons may shield recipients from possible future federal prosecution, they offer no protection from state investigations. States such as Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona continue to pursue their own cases related to the 2020 electors scheme.
The proclamation also explicitly stated that the pardon does not apply to the president himself.
Yadav is a well-known figure in the local political arena, residing in Kingsland, Camden County, South Georgia. In addition to his political activities, he owns and manages several hotels and motels in the region.
