Five Indian Americans have been named to the inaugural TIME100 Creators list, which celebrates 100 of the most influential digital voices who are shaping culture, driving conversations, and building communities online.

The Indian American honorees include entrepreneur Dhar Mann, YouTubers Michelle Khare and Samir Chaudry, podcaster Jay Shetty, and content creator Prajakta Koli. TIME launched the list to recognize digital creators across a range of fields including entertainment, education, business, wellness, and social change.

Dhar Mann, known for producing inspirational short films with moral lessons, has amassed over 25 million YouTube subscribers and is widely recognized for his storytelling aimed at social upliftment.

Michelle Khare, a former professional cyclist and BuzzFeed producer, gained prominence for her YouTube series “Challenge Accepted,” where she trains for extreme professions and physical feats. She has used her platform to push boundaries and explore personal growth.

Samir Chaudry is the co-founder of the Colin and Samir Show, a digital media company and podcast that covers the creator economy. He has emerged as a key voice in analyzing the business and cultural impact of online creators.

Jay Shetty, a former monk turned motivational speaker and author, has built a global following through his podcast On Purpose and his focus on mindfulness, relationships, and personal development.

Prajakta Koli, known online as “MostlySane,” is one of India’s most popular digital entertainers. She is the only India-born creator on the list and is recognized for her comedy sketches and work in raising awareness around mental health, education, and climate change. Koli has also acted in the Netflix series Mismatched and Bollywood films.

TIME’s inaugural Creators list was released on July 9 and includes global influencers across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and podcasting platforms. A launch event to celebrate the honorees was held on July 10 in New York City.

According to TIME, the list aims to highlight creators who are redefining influence in the digital age, driving commerce and conversation, and shaping the way people connect and consume content.
