Tunki, Erramilli, Bradberry Re-Elected in Closely Watched Johns Creek City Council Races

Johns Creek, GA, November 5, 2025: In a decisive night for continuity at Johns Creek City Hall, incumbents Dilip Tunki and Bob Erramilli won re-election to the City Council after spirited contests that drew significant community attention. John Bradberry was re-elected Mayor of Johns Creek.

Tunki Retains Post 1 Seat

Mayor Pro Tem Dilip Tunki held on to his Post 1 seat in a nail-biting finish against challenger Anita Gupta. Tunki secured 51.14 percent of the vote (8,695 votes) to Gupta’s 48.86 percent (8,306 votes) — with 17,001 votes cast.

In a message to supporters, Tunki expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to serving Johns Creek with integrity and inclusivity:

“Dear Friends and Neighbors, I am deeply grateful for the confidence you have placed in me to continue serving our community. Johns Creek is a special place, and I remain committed to responsible, transparent, and forward-looking leadership, supporting public safety, maintaining low taxes, expanding parks and connectivity, and ensuring a high quality of life for every resident,” he said.

“I also want to acknowledge and thank my opponent for stepping forward and participating in this race. Running for office takes courage and a commitment to community, and I respect anyone willing to serve. To our volunteers and donors — thank you. Your support made the difference. I will continue listening, engaging, and working hard on behalf of all of Johns Creek.”

Erramilli Cruises to Victory in Post 3

Incumbent Bob Erramilli comfortably retained his Post 3 seat with 63.20 percent (10,625 votes) over challenger Shafiq Jadavji, who earned 36.80 percent (6,186 votes). A total of 16,811 votes were cast in the race.

Erramilli thanked voters for their trust and pledged to continue his focus on accountability and service:

“Thank you, Johns Creek. Your trust means everything,” Erramilli said in a statement. “With your support, we’ll continue building a community grounded in service, transparency, and growth.”

Bradberry, DiBiase Also Re-Elected; Bond Measure Fails

In other city races, Mayor John Bradberry was re-elected with 61.99 percent (10,831 votes) over Kelly Stewart (38.01 percent, 6,642 votes). Larry DiBiase won another term in Post 5 with 56.21 percent (9,365 votes), defeating Tyler Chenault and Cal Couch.

A proposed General Obligation Bond Referendum for a Performing Arts Center failed, with 61.34 percent voting “No” (10,876 votes) and 38.66 percent voting “Yes” (6,856 votes).

The results are unofficial until certified by the Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections.
