Silk
has always been a fabric close to everyone’s heart. If is considered
the queen of fabrics, and has been dominating the textile industry with
its shimmer, shiny feel and glamour for decades. Silk sarees still
whisper the tale of the beautiful prince and princess in India. These
days, heritage silk sarees are further adorned with embroidery and
other work for an exclusive look.

Ivory cream gold katan silk saree with maroon patli pallu that is
adorned with gold booti and big pitta zari border and silk piping. The
blouse plays the main role in this saree. I use the saree fabric and
set the border in different cuts and shapes.
Jewelry: Wear with traditional old fashioned heavy necklace with jhumki earrings and a thick kada in one hand .
Make up: Very dark and bright. Wear your hair in an up do. Pair with comfortable wedge high heels and carry a silk potli purse.

Mustard gold silk jacquard fabric with plain contrast silk pallu . The
main beauty of saree is a very thick resham border finished with silk
piping. The border is usually a combination of colors like orange and
green and accentuated with intricate design. The blouse matches the
piping of the saree and the sleeves are made out of the border setting.
Jewelry: A string of big beads that match the color of the saree.
Make-up: Not too heavy make-up and open hair. Carry a flat silk purse and wear platform heels.

Banarsi katan short silk with booti design woven into the fabric and
embellished with a rich dark velvet border embroidered with a dull gold
finish.

Make-up: Go with the matte finish and complete with bronzer. Wear high heels and carry a velvet embroidered purse.

style. The brocade of the trim is used as the material for the blouse.
This is a very elegant saree.
Jewelry: Antique gold pendent set with matching stone setting
Make-up: Emphasis on the eye shadow and dark lipstick. Carry an embroidered flat silk purse and wear silk sandals.
