The New Color Is White...

The color that symbolizes purity, innocence and perfection. Have fun with it this summer, says Christine.

White is a majestic color that symbolizes purity and innocence. It not only gives you a clean look, but also brightens up your overall appearance. White goes with everything like the color black, but unlike black, it has a very calming effect. Color varies from culture to culture and even though white can be the color of mourning in some cultures- remember, it's how you wear it.

Wearing white stands out by itself and can be beautiful on its own, however you can play with color by choosing your accessories. Even though it is the color of simplicity, dont be afraid to brighten up your entire look with citrus shoes, or a pucci scarf, a baby blue clutch, or even a diamond set in white gold or platinum. Guys, a simple white tee, or even off white linen pants are perfect for the summer to keep you cool. Depending on where you are, it adds a certain umph and can change your mood.

White evokes the clean feeling in all of us as we emerge from our baths to be embraced by big textured white towels and wrap ourselves in our comfortable white Turkish robes.

Imagine walking on the white sand of your favorite beach in a two piece all white bikini, your tanned skin glowing from the top of your head as you flash your pearly whites to your french manicured feet in sandals encrusted with white crystals.

In high society, white is still only to be worn from Easter Sunday to Labor Day. However, today, white is universally accepted as a less is more color of choice all year. (think Aspen in winter - snow, white fur, white accessories - STUNNING)

White is the epitome of every young girl's fantasy on her big day. Wedding day memories are a vision of white awe and wonder with the scent of English white roses, jasmine and gardenia in the air.

Be daring, wear white to work or to play in but remember- it's all in how you personalize it.

White is the color of perfection, so go ahead and have fun with it.
