Georgia’s Movina Wins Ms Teen India USA Crown
Ms Teen India USA 2004 Movina Nagarajan


Movina Nagarajan, a 16-year old Georgia girl won the Raza.com Miss Teen India USA 2004 title at a glittering ceremony in Skokie, IL on June 26th. In all, 37 teens participated in the pageant. Movina was earlier a runner-up in the Miss Teen India Georgia 2003 pageant. 

Farida Quadri was the first runner-up and Sheekha Sethi the second runner-up. Both girls are from Illinois. The three final winners were chosen from six finalists after a Q&A round. The event was organized by SR International Inc.

Movina’s answer in the Q&A round clinched her the top glory. She said “Brains are important, while beauty is skin-deep,” in reply to her question.

Georgia’s Vandana Aggarwal, who won the Miss Teen India Georgia  title in 2003, was voted Miss Talented, while Sheekha Sethi also won the Miss Beautiful Skin. Sonali Patel of Illinois won the Miss Photogenic, while Akansha Kumar won the Miss Beautiful Hair and Daksha Potnis of Kansas the Miss Beautiful Smile.

The sold-out program was emceed by Rakshanda Khan, and choreographed by Mehar Bhasin and Rita Singh.
