The women of the world will soon be united by one freshwater pearl.
A necklace designed by DanniJo Jewels symbolizes hope for India’s women with AIDS. The “Hope” necklace was created to benefit Cents of Relief, an organization dedicated to contributing medical, nutritional and educational support to HIV/AIDS victims of India’s red-light districts.
“It is important to bring women together and raise awareness about this important cause,” said Jodie Snyder, jewelry designer and owner of DanniJo Jewels. “By wearing this necklace women will be wearing a little hope around their neck and be constantly reminded of the women around the world suffering from AIDS.”
The “Hope” necklace is a simple yet elegant design crafted with three strands of sterling silver and a white freshwater coin pearl. All proceeds above the cost of each necklace will be donated to Cents of Relief. The “Hope” necklace is available at
www.dannijo.com for $59.
“The hope necklace will not only serve as a symbol for the fight against AIDS in India and around the world, but also as a promise to help stop the trafficking trade of innocent women and children ” said Anup Patel, president and founder of Cents of Relief.
