Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living, addressed
the American Jewish Committee's 100th annual meeting in Washington, DC last
week. He also met with leaders of the American Jewish Committee Washington
chapter and AJC's representative in India, Priya Tandon. Topics included
the AJC Education and Vocational Center under construction in Chennai and
Sri Sri's breathing and relaxation techniques used in conflict-ridden areas
around the world.
"Both the Art of Living and the American Jewish Committee
bring together people of different faiths in order to promote global peace
through dialogue and understanding," says a press release issued recently.
