Rekha Muddaraj from Arizona and Eighteen-year old Shana Dhillon of Fremont, CA, who represented India at the 17th annual Miss Asia USA Pageant, were placed third and fourth runner-up respectively at a dazzling event on Saturday, April 23rd. Of the 27 delegates from all over the Asian continent, all three Indian representatives were top 10 finalists – Shana Dhillon and Ruby Jain of Northern California (sponsored by Indiva Productions) and Rekha Muddaraj from Arizona.
Dhillon, born and raised in Fremont, CA is a high school graduate who aspires to pursue a career in journalism and performing arts. Shana has performed at several cultural events and was one of the finalists at the Miss Teenage California & Miss Contra Costa County Pageant which are some of the largest mainstream pageants in the state.
