Atlanta,
Dec 2012: GHHF, Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, in its efforts to
protect, preserve, promote and maintain Hindu culture across the globe,
organized a seminar on “The Power of Tolerance and Management Tactics
of Karya Sidhi Anjaneya Swamy”, at Alpharetta Adult Activity Center,
Alpharetta, GA on 18th November,2012. This program was initiated
by Rama Sharma Kasibhatla of Atlanta. The scholastic discourse was
delivered by eminent scholar, Dr. C. L. Prabhakar, professor of Vedas,
at Hindu University of America, Florida. The professor is also
Director of NadaVedadhyana Kendra (Regd), Bangalore, and president of
World Association of Vedic Studies (WAVES) USA, Bangalore Chapter.
The
event started with the Ganesh prayer sung by Phani Dokka followed by a
brief introduction of the speaker by Venkat Chennubhotla. The
speaker then mesmerized the audience with his wonderful speech citing
many real time examples that were eye-opening and motivating to the
audience. The speaker touched various topics from the life of Lord
Hanuman that could be inspirational and educational as well. Hanuman,
an important character in Ramayana combined several qualities and
practical achievements in his personality. Out of the qualities, power
of tolerance and the management tactics of Hanuman are focused in the
talk. They show to be useful for any one if one desired to please one’s
boss and bring about universal good and promotion of dharma. He never
loses his peace but pursues the feature of causing good to all. He is
given the fame as karyasidddhi Anjaneya swamy for the research faculty
in him. Until Sita is located, he did not stop his search of Sita. He
has evinced conversational skills, ability to take spot decisions not
endangering the mission for which he reached the land of enemies. He
focused on work and such is his pursuit and he succeeded in whatever
action he undertook. He evinced immense care to take knowledge of Lanka
during day and night. He became like Agnideva (Fire God) the path
finder and bestowed hope in the entrepreneurs who want to accomplish
fulfillment and success. Hanuman as servant (duta) spoke more worked
more with all tact. He became known as the gem in the string of
Ramayana. The discourse was followed by a mini-concert by Dr.Sita
Rama Lakshmi, Professor Of Music, Bangalore after brief
Lecture-Demonstration, on the importance of Nadam (music) in our day to
day life. The talk contained the definition of Nada and creational
modes of Nada and the identity with Veda mantras. A number of
illustrations from kirtanas from famous composers like Thyagaraja were
sung to explain the Nada. The rendition was inspiring and well received
by the audience.
Prof.CL.Prabhakar was felicitated by
