The Central organizing committee joined by various committees has made elaborate arrangements to make the conference a memorable one for the attendees. TAMA has constituted several committees with the representatives from the EC, Board and community at large. Together, they are taking the responsibility of organizing the 30th anniversary celebrations on a grand scale. TAMA has introduced Annual sponsorship packages to give benefits for 12 months in 2011 for the sponsors. Sponsors will know the total cost for the year and can allocate their budgets.

The 30th annual celebrations will be a great opportunity for sponsors to promote their services. Young people from the Telugu speaking Indian community in Atlanta are fully engaged in preparations to celebrate “Maha Sambaralu”.
Over the years TAMA has grown and has become an integral part of the Indian Community in Metro Atlanta and an active participant not only in the Indian community but also in the mainstream community. TAMA organizes events to celebrate major festivals and organizes a picnic, “Palleku Podam” as scheduled activities. Besides these, several other literary and cultural events go on like 'Sahiti Sadassu' (literary meet), musical nights, and fund-raising programs, celebrating various festivals, Kid fest, etc. TAMA also runs a school for young kids 'Mana Badi'. TAMA is on the forefront in helping the community back in India and in particular Andhra Pradesh in various ways in times of distress during natural calamities etc.,

In serving the Telugu community in and around Atlanta, TAMA has been promoting Unity, Culture and Education among the Telugu people in Atlanta. Sponsors have played an important role by standing behind TAMA for financial support. TAMA looks forward for continued support and generosity from sponsors.

In the early years, Telugu families used to meet at individual houses. The growing needs of the community necessitated the local Telugu families to start an organization in 1981 and the rest is history. The growth of TAMA into a mature, dynamic, flowering and resourceful association will be a proud chapter in the history of the Telugu community in Metro Atlanta.

TAMA will be completing 30 years of dedicated service to the Telugu community in and around Atlanta in 2011. It is a proud milestone for the organization, which has remained united despite the political developments in Andhra Pradesh or organizational changes with National Telugu organizations. It is the time to celebrate the Telugu community’s unity and dedicated service!!
