Ani Agnihotri On Georgia Trend’s Notable Georgians List
Georgia Trend magazine recently named Ani Agnihotri, Founder/Managing Partner, U.S. India Business and Research Center (USIBRC) on its annual list of Notable Georgians. The list includes 72 distinguished business and community leaders including U. S. Congressman David Scott, Entertainer Usher Raymond, Publisher of Atlanta Business Chronicle Ed Baker and President of Morehouse College Dr. Franklin.
Georgia Trend is a magazine of state business, politics and economic development. The list, as is the annual tradition, appeared in its January 2012 issue. The year's first edition recognizes one individual as "Georgian of The Year" along with a list of the "100 Most Influential Georgians," followed by naming the "2012 Notable Georgians."
Among the names in each category are representatives from education, health care, public administration, politicians, business owners, CEOs and nonprofit directors.
“As founder and leader of consulting firm USIBRC, Agnihotri links together the business interests and opportunities of his chosen country, the U.S., and his birth country, India,” a short bio in the magazine said. “He founded and chaired the first USA India Business Summit (last May in Atlanta) and in his spare time is CEO of IIIrd Millennium Technologies (a boutique technology company he started) and serves on several boards.”
In an email note to this newspaper, Agnihotri expressed gratitude for being named a Notable Georgian. “In January 2011, Georgia Trend magazine had named me as one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians for the work done by USIBRC to promote USA and India business, he added.
