Get Ready For The Festive Season

BY RANI SHARMA

While India’s Independence Day stirs up the patriotic fervor in us, it also heralds the festive season that spreads across the rest of the year. Navratri, Durga Puja, Eid, Dussehra and Diwali are the highlights of the Indian festive season. Needless to add, this is the time of the year that women dress up for each occasion, and want to look their best. A vast variety of latest designer clothes throng the markets and this offers a large selection to choose from while shopping for festivals.

Here we feature the elegant Lamhe collection- a dazzling combination of different fabrics, colors, styles and embroidery that looks fabulous on ladies of all ages and body types.

Black And Red lamhe suit- Attract compliments by wearing this lovely red & black georgette chikan anarkali suit with heavy work on the front & back brocade border. Matching lycra net leggings and chiffon dupatta complete the ensemble.

Green net lamhe anarkali suit- Be the center of attraction at the party by wearing this lovely net green anarkali suit with heavy resham work, yoke & broad triple color border and trim with brocade piping. Pair with lycra churidar with chiffon dupatta.

Solid red lamhe suit- Chiffon material with lots of kalis gives the suit flares and flair! The velvet sleeves have zardozi work on them and the yoke is made of raw silk in blue, and the trim has embroidery. The suit is cut deep in the front and back. The suit is made richer with a 10-inch katan silk border plus a 2-inch velvet patti plus a 3-inch shimmer edging, and is paired with a crepe churidar and net dupatta.

Makeup: Go with subtle eye shadows, light lipstick and bronzer. Keep your hair straight and sleek, and leave it open.
Foowear: Wear wedge heels or platforms in the color of the dress.
Purse: Carry a solid, plain, fabric batua.
