This issue marks the second anniversary of NRI Pulse Online Magazine. The past two years have been a wonderful journey of learning, disseminating and growing. Today, we are proud to be recognized as a news media to reckon with, and a strong platform for the Indian American community to express itself.

And now the good news! We at NRI Pulse believe it is time to take the next step in reaching out to the community by launching our very own PRINT EDITION. 

The print issue will contain the very best of NRIPulse.com- the latest news, views, profiles, interviews, debates, surveys, perspectives, youth, health, immigration, fashion, women, movie reviews, Bollywood gossip, horoscopes, a children’s corner and exciting photo features like Models, Babies, Family Portraits, Snapshots and so on and so forth…

The print issue will reach the 80,000 strong South Asian community in and around Atlanta. Copies will be circulated FREE at all major Indo-American stores in and around Atlanta and at important community events. Meanwhile, NRIPulse.com is evolving each day. As we step into our third year, our readers can look forward to new columns, and in-depth coverage of news and views. With this issue, we introduce the “Top NRI News” segment, which is an in-depth roundup of the latest happenings and commentaries of interest to the Indian American and the Global NRI. While we have had outside links to top NRI related news for quite some time, with this issue, all news items will be hosted on NRI Pulse. The “Top NRI News” segment is updated everyday, so readers need no longer surf through countless news sites to read news and views that are relevant to their geographic location and interests.

Blogging is the way of the world, as can be seen from the tremendous interest in our newly introduced Blogs. Blogging not only gives readers a platform to express their opinions and comment on issues, but also gives them a strong web presence. We invite our readers to participate in discussions at NRI Pulse Blogs.

With this issue, we introduce our very own Dear Abbey, Swapna Patel. We encourage readers to seek advice on the struggles of everyday life, and the unique problems that we as an immigrant community face in adapting to life in America.
