Raneez Boutique celebrated the opening of its high-end
bridal studio at its expanded premises at 2179 Lawrenceville
Hwy. Decatur on April 13th and 14th. The ritzy studio has
everything a bride and groom would want to give them the
feel of their wedding day, says owner Rani Sharma.
The studio is fitted with elegant chandeliers and designer
lights, and has an elevated stage with full length mirrors
on two sides for the bride and groom to see themselves in a
relaxed setting. There are plush sofas and a large high-def
TV for other members of the family to relax on while the
bride or groom tries on the outfits.
“I have tried to recreate the whole ambience and feel of a
wedding in my studio,” says Rani who designed the studio
herself after being motivated to expand by many friends
including Atlanta couple Tanny Malik and Ari Casper. The
idea is for the bridal party would make an appointment with
Rani and spend 4-5 hours trying out outfits and accessories
in a comfortable, relaxed setting.
The studio is a dream fulfilled for Rani, who wanted to
expand, but didn’t want a second location at a different
physical address because she believes in reading each
customer and giving personal attention and advice. Luckily
for Rani, the store next door was available, and that made
it possible for her to have the bridal studio under the same
roof.
The full range bridal collection includes custom made
lehngas, sarees, sherwanis, jewelry, purses, footwear… the
complete package. There are even matching outfits for the
bride and groom.
Raneez also recently introduced its furnishing range. The
range includes exquisite drapes and curtains in tissue, silk
and crystals; all custom designed and reasonably priced
Rani, who has been in the design business for over 22 years,
says her clientele has expanded to all over the south east
ever since she opened Raneez a couple of years ago. She
credits her family- husband Vijay Sharma, son Vaibhav and
daughter Vibhuti - for her success in the design field.
